COVID-19 Statement
The health and safety of our team, customers and the community will always be our first priority.
Granny Flat Solutions is taking the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously. In support of the government’s health and safety advice, we have reviewed and amended our procedures to comply with the new policies on hygiene practices and social distancing. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation very closely, and make changes to our processes, when necessary, to operate in accordance with all government regulations and help stop the spread.
Our staff has worked together to implement updated systems and cloud-based applications, ensuring our business continues to run smoothly.
Site Assessments
Both online and on-site assessments are available to you. Once the site assessment is complete, our assessor can arrange a time with you to discuss your quote via. a phone or video conference call.
- Online: A site feasibility report can be created via. a new, innovative program that allows us to assess your block size and land-use ratios, setbacks, site contour and grading, zoning and possible restrictions.
- On-Site: Our site assessors regularly use hand sanitiser and practice social distancing. If you prefer, you can elect to not be present for the assessment.
Design & Approvals
All of our designs and approvals can be done completely online. Our designers conduct all meetings via. a video conference call, as they continue to work with you in creating your dream Granny Flat.
Interior Design consultations can also be done online via. a video call. Our interior designer will be at our Thornleigh showroom to virtually guide you through our large range of selections. You will also be sent our Materials Selection booklet to help assist with your decisions.
Construction
Our reputable suppliers and trades will make sure they remain at least 1.5m apart on site. While on site, they will not need to make contact with the main dwelling at all. Your Project Manager will continue to provide you with regular updates and photographs, as well as organise progress video walk-through meetings.
Open Homes
Our Open Homes are back in operation, with extra precautions and care in place to make sure everyone remains safe and healthy. We also encourage you to view our two new Display Homes in Newport and Wyoming (available by appointment only).
During this time, our team will also increase their level of communication, as they continue to provide you with our award-winning customer service.
